Lenoir-Rhyne University tags

Teaching Annual Giving to Students (tags) educates students about the importance of giving back to Lenoir-Rhyne once they become alumni.
Tuition and fees alone do not cover the cost of a Lenoir-Rhyne education. Each year, the university depends on gift support from alumni and friends for 4% of its operating budget. This budget includes $ 2.4 million out of the endowment which are used to fund student scholarships annually. Without that support, Lenoir-Rhyne would be a very different place.
For every dollar that is given to the Fund for Lenoir-Rhyne, here is what it goes to:

The Fund for Lenoir-Rhyne is a major source of funding for the college. As its name suggests, yearly, recurring gifts from alumni, parents, and friends are encouraged. Gifts of all sizes make up this fund, and all gifts are equally important and necessary for keeping Lenoir-Rhyne strong financially and academically.
Throughout the academic year, the tags program will sponsor a variety of fun events and educational opportunities to raise awareness of the Annual Fund and the role students may play in supporting Lenoir-Rhyne after graduation.
Fair Star Fridays
To raise awareness of the Lenoir-Rhyne tags program, each Friday, a bear will be hidden somewhere on Lenoir-Rhyne's campus.
Clues to the bear's location will be posted on the Lenoir-Rhyne tags Facebook fan page around 10 am. Join the page, read the clues and let the hunt begin!
The student who finds the bear and returns it to the Cloninger Alumni House will win a much-coveted prize! (Only 1 prize awarded each week.) Students who win are not eligible to play again during the same semester.
Complete details are listed on the Lenoir-Rhyne tags Facebook page
